Exchanges and Refunds Policy
Exchanges
- Frames can be returned within 7 days from date of confirmed delivery.
- Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging to be elligible for exchange.
- Items sent in anything other than the original packaging will not be accepted.
- Sale/discounted items are not elligible for exchanges.
- IGUGU Optics does not offer free exchanges or return.
- Courier of items to be exchanged is at the expense of the client.
- Sale items are not eligible for an exchange unless the frame is broken/ damaged/ faulty or incorrect due to manufacturing faults.
Refunds
Refunds will occur only under the following conditions : if the item ordered is out of stock and funds have already been payed for the said item.
In such cases a refund will be issued via the original method of payment used by the client.
Packaging
All non-sale items come with IGUGU flat pouch and microfibre cleaning cloth. All sale items will receive a black drawstring bag and a microfibre cloth.
Fitting Prescription Lenses
All clear lens frames, sold by IGUGU Optics have been tested for prescription lenses and all of them are suitable to have prescription lenses fitted in them by a certified optometrist.
however, there is always risk involved. the ability to fit prescription lenses, into IGUGU frames, and willingness to do so is done at the optometrists’ discretion. thus, having your prescription lenses fitted in an IGUGU frame is done so at your own risk and IGUGU Optics is not liable for any damage due to fitting prescription lenses. IGUGU Optics is also not liable for when an optometrist cannot fit your prescription lenses into IGUGU frames. even if an optometrist has fitted a certain frame multiple times there is still a small possibility that it may not work. this is why many optometrists offices have a disclaimer that says “fitted at the customer’s own risk.
